A date with a girlfriend on a Friday night was exactly what I needed. Plenty of laughter thanks to anecdotes from her recent Europe trip, attempts at speaking the most basic French and the simplest German greetings of Alo!. Girl talk too, of course. One word - Fun.

And of all the places we went to, we went to Delifrance. I asked, "Kat France ada Delifrance tak?" Within giggles that risked turning into guffaws, she let out a "Tak ada!!" Rather lame but amusing to me anyway.

And the edible souveniers she got, will come in handy to satisfy my never-ending choco-cravings.

We're headed to JB tonight for his friend's wedding dinner. I'm hoping we can stop by a supermart so I can stock up on girly essentials and canned food for the trip. Whatever our balance Malaysian ringgit can buy.
