Simple Life of Us

Byebyemoto...

My 1 1/2 month old V3X's camera's spoilt so it has been sent in for overnight repair. If I do feel anything at all, I feel at peace. No surprise phonecalls from unwanted parties to disrupt my weekends.

With all this tech-talk these days, I often hear people saying they can't live without their mobile phones. Is that really true? Is it true that they can't live without the incessant ringing of mobile phones? Why is it important for us to communicate with someone almost every second we're on the train? Can't we just stare into empty space? Why is it that we feel so uncomfortable about doing nothing, that the most natural thing we need to do in this world is to reach for our mobile phones & fiddle with them till we find something more important to do?

Actually I think the problem with us is, we want to do something in every minute of our lives. Such that we feel weird when we have nothing to do!

I'm not that innocent, but I think one of these days I'll try to stop myself from digging into my bag for my mobile phone the moment I have nothing to do. Let's go back to the times where mobile phones were a thing of the future. Let's go back to basics. And let's see if we can survive.

salaam irris ...

i'm the wierd type when it comes to hp. i prefer to sms but hates talking on it. *hehe* and whenever i'm outside, i tak suke bergayut. i would usually answer the call with - "i'm outside at the moment, can i call you back when i reach home?" but the funniest thing is, we don't even have a residential phone line! *LOL*

having said that however, if the call i received is urgent and i'm outside ... say in a bus or train, you'd find me talking on my hp ala spy (berbual betul2 pat speaker and cover my mulut with my hand). *kekeke*

weird. that's me alright. *heh*

yeah.. cant live w/o mine. cause the hassle of looking for a public phone then a 10cent coin or phonecard makes me mad! oh and only just realised that there are diff phonecards for diff public phones. by the same company! crazy!!!

ahh i hate making calls at a public phone. on a bad day, the public phone will either
(a) have a dial tone n does work coz the coin goes thru it and out at the bottom
(b) the coin went thru but the moment the other party answer, the line went dead.
(c)all goes smoothly but the other party cant hear you coz the mouthpiece on yr side is ROSAK!
(d)some buttons on the phone just refuse to work.

Ahh dun get me started on the phonecard.
ARGHHHHHHHH

hehe
