Krrrringg, who's there?

A familiar voice filled my ears when I answered the phone with the normal greeting I usually use. At the other end, he asked, Ms Irris, kenal tak saya siapa? Ni *********, lah.

Of course I remember him, an ex-client of mine. Chey, macam business client gitu eh? My little heart asked why he was calling. Was it because he has gotten himself involved in another round of mess? So I asked how he was & why he was calling. His answer gave me a pleasant surprise, as well as allowed me to let out a silent sigh of relief.

Telepon aje, tanya khabar. Ms Irris apa khabar?

Khabar baik, alhamdulillah. Awak, apa khabar? Bila masuk NS? Baby baik?

And yada yada yada for a good 3 to 4 minutes. We parted with me thanking him for calling me to ask how I was. It was a pleasant surprise, truly. I felt rather appreciated that he remembered me enough to actually dial my number!

Come to think of it, my number is not such a dreaded one to call after all. You can call me not only when you face trouble; you can call me to tell me good news too, or simply to ask how I am! I won't bite or snarl at you. I'm quite nice if you don't give me trouble, actually, hehe :D

So there, a simple story that has made my day & carved a little smile on my lips. Nov 06 has been a pleasant month so far, and I sure look forward to the rest of it.

It IS MRS FINNEY LAH!! We housemates refer to her as NENEK. haha. She used to have a lot more properties. But left my house @ Princess Road and another at Broadway. But she selling off both already.

SHE MILLIONAIRE liao! Kaya2 tapi dok sorang .. TAk tahu save duit untuk saper sey. ahahaha.

She's damn annoying lah. always nag nag nag at me. she say she worry i wear scarf in australia. then ask me "Won't God forgive you if you don't wear the scarf, to protect yourself in a foreign country?"

aperrrr jekk NENEK tu! nak kena semack tul nenek. haha.

she's from palestine. she say palestine her home NOT australia. hah ...

Sweet November? I've yet to catch that movie actually. But it sure sounds like a sweet movie!
