No monday blues

Did anyone read Sumiko/Tan's column in ST yesterday? It was such an entertaining read. I totally could relate to it!

But I'm luckier than her, coz, while she probably braved another bluey monday, I didn't have to go through one. (OK, maybe just briefly around lunchtime just now, coz I made a work-related call to a client). Yes, it *was* my off day today! *WAS*

I think the weekend should include Mondays as well, so no one would have to suffer from Monday blues. But would that mean Tuesday blues would spring up then?

Anyway, DesperateHousewives is starting soon. I'm rather annoyed that there's a 30 min local show slotted at 10 pm. That pushes my bedtime to 11.30 pm! As a sign of protest, I decided not to watch that show. Hmph.

Well, I'm quite determined to make this a happy week for myself insya-Allah. I hope things go as planned!

what? TV? takpe la ... i have learnt to not let TV control me. PC control me nvm. :-)

but mondays really suck in any case, whether you're single or married. bleagh.

and just as bad if you're a SAHM too i think. i clearly remember having monday blues during my maternity leave, coz it meant the husband would go to work, and i'd be stuck at home with the baby with no one around to help! :D

Hana, I gather mondays are just generally bluey for everyone who has ever gone to work & experienced the luxury of weekends. I wonder if makcik2 yang tak pernah pegi keje feel the same way though. Care to ask? Hehe!
